Artwork & File Guidelines

Good artwork helps produce cleaner engraving. For logos, business orders, QR-style layouts, and detailed designs, send the clearest file available.

Preferred file types

Vector files are preferred when available: SVG, AI, EPS, or PDF. High-resolution PNG or JPG files may work depending on the design.

Text and names

Enter names, dates, phone numbers, and messages exactly as they should appear. CRC Engraving may copy the provided text directly into the production layout.

Logo quality

Small, blurry, low-resolution, heavily shaded, or screenshot-style logos may need cleanup before engraving. If artwork needs significant cleanup or redesign, extra cost or review time may apply.

QR codes and fine detail

QR codes, serial numbers, very small text, and fine detail should be reviewed before production. Material, engraving area, and final size can affect readability.

Proofs

Proofs are available when needed for custom layouts, logos, or requests that need review. Final engraving may vary by product material, coating, finish, and artwork quality.
