CRC Engraving may review customer-supplied items for engraving, but not every item or material is a good fit. Do not ship or drop off items until CRC Engraving confirms the project should be reviewed.

Review required

Customer-supplied items must be reviewed for material, coating, shape, engraving area, replacement risk, and project details. Some items may be declined.

Risk of damage

Laser engraving can permanently alter an item. Customer-supplied items may carry a risk of cosmetic variation, unexpected marking, coating reaction, alignment limitations, or damage. CRC Engraving will review the request, but compatibility cannot always be guaranteed.

Replacement responsibility

If a customer-supplied item is rare, sentimental, expensive, discontinued, or difficult to replace, discuss the risk before proceeding. Replacement terms should be agreed on before work begins.

What to send before approval

  • Photos of the item
  • Material and coating information if known
  • Dimensions and engraving area
  • Artwork/text to engrave
  • Quantity
  • Deadline, if any

No automatic acceptance

Receiving a request does not mean the job is accepted. CRC Engraving will confirm whether the project is a fit before production.
